I was appointed as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust in December 2008. Prior to this I had a comprehensive training in ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

I recently completed a Masters Degree in Medical Informatics. My dissertation was on how computerised decision support can be used to improve the accuracy of diagnosis and management of ophthalmic primary care conditions, resulting in shortening of the patients’ journey and improving the patient experience. At a time when Information Technology has become of strategic importance in health care delivery, my knowledge in this field has been a distinct asset.
